The Unicorn BCI Core-8 is available with sampling rates of 250 Hz. This suits most EEG applications, while the 1000 Hz option excels in ECG and EMG recordings.

The g.tec Suite 2024 is a powerful software environment for data acquisition and real-time processing experiments, seamlessly integrating with Unicorn BCI Core devices. HYBRID EEG ELECTRODES

The Unicorn Hybrid EEG Electrodes are made of a conductive material that allows you to record dry or with gel. Dry recordings are fast to setup. For better performance, conductive gel can be applied. Uncorn Hybrid EEG Electrodes provide a high flexibility and a practical solution for various EEG applications and contribute to the advancement of EEG technology.

The Hybrid EEG Electrodes are inserted into cap to hold them in to position over certain brain areas. We have caps for humans, horses and dogs in different sizes.

HYBRID EEG BASE STATION

The base station for Sahara hybrid EEG electrodes is attached with a magnetic holder to the cap. The hybrid electrodes are inserted into certain locations of the cap.

The Unicorn base station for gold cup electrodes is available with 4 or 8 channels, plus ground and reference. The Unicorn BCI Core-8 can be attached via the magnet to both of them. Therefore, you can just choose how many electrodes you wish to use for a certain application.

GOLD CUP EEG ELECTRODES

The Unicorn Gold Cup Electrodes are ideal for sleep recordings or for placing electrodes flexibly in the fur of animals. These lightweight electrodes help reduce artifacts, ensuring higher quality data. The electrodes are used with a sticky electrode paste which holds them into position.

POWERFUL LI-ION BATTERY AND ENHANCED SIGNAL QUALITY

Achieve optimal digitization with a 24-bit ADC resolution and a high oversampling rate to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio. A lightweight high-power Li-Ion battery with optimal performance, offering 6 hours of recording time, and conveniently charged via USB connection.

EMC TESTED COMPONENTS

Electromagnetic interference can produce distortions in the EEG data and can make huge parts of the recordings unusable. But even more importantly, electronic devices can produce interference to other products and this is completely unacceptable because it can endanger people. The Unicorn BCI Core-8 and all components are therefore EMC tested and follow the international normatives.
