SYNCHRONIZED HIGH-DENSITY EEG & NIRS
The combination of g.HIamp and NIRx enables synchronized acquisition of high-density EEG and NIRS, allowing researchers to measure electrical brain activity and cerebral hemodynamics simultaneously. EEG measures neuronal activity with millisecond temporal resolution, while NIRS measures changes in cerebral oxygenation associated with neural activation. Combining both techniques allows researchers to investigate when brain activity occurs and how cortical activation evolves, providing a more complete understanding of brain function than either modality alone.
With up to 256 EEG channels and 16 NIRS sources and 16 detectors, the platform provides comprehensive coverage for advanced neuroscience, Brain-Computer Interfaces, neurorehabilitation, cognitive neuroscience, and neurovascular coupling research. Using g.HIsys Professional, EEG and NIRS data are acquired, synchronized, visualized, and processed in real time, while g.BSanalyze provides advanced offline analysis of combined electrophysiological and hemodynamic signals.

OPTIMIZED EEG & NIRS SENSOR PLACEMENT
The g.GAMMAcap integrates g.SCARABEO active EEG electrodes and NIRx optodes within a single cap, ensuring reproducible sensor placement, stable scalp contact, and rapid participant preparation. The cap supports up to 64 EEG electrodes and 32 optode holders, enabling flexible placement of 16 light sources and 16 detectors for reproducible combined EEG and NIRS recordings.
The integrated cap design minimizes preparation time while maintaining consistent sensor positioning across repeated experiments, making it suitable for both research laboratories and long-term neuroscience studies.
