IMPEDANCE CHECK IN 2D & 3D

Acquire high-quality EEG easily with the new Impedance Check! The electrode impedance describes how well the contact between the electrode and the skin of the human scalp is established with gel. The 2D and 3D views make it much easier to identify electrode locations with high impedances. Then, simply add more gel until the EEG electrode shows a green color.

The iEEG Montage Creator allows you to co-register a post-operative CT and a pre-operative anatomical MRI in order to extract electrode locations for visualization with a 3D model of the cortex. The iEEG Montage Creator is now available in the g.tec Suite 2020 software package.

CCEP MAPPING WITH CORTIQ SYSTEM

Identify the language network with CCEP mappings

This experiment was conducted with Dr. Kyousuke Kamada in the ICU and an epilepsy patient. His intention was to identify the language network by stimulating the Broca’s area, Wernicke’s area and the auditory cortex. He was also able to identify pathological CCEPs and interrupt seizure pathways effectively in his neurosurgery interventions.

g.tec’s user-ready cortiQ brain mapping system allows neurosurgeons to map cortico-cortical evoked potentials of the whole cortex using the g.HIamp biosignal amplifier, g.Estim PRO cortical stimulator together with the Switching Unit to induce CCEPs.
