The Observer XT

The Observer XT by Noldus (www.noldus.com) is the professional software package for the collection, analysis and presentation of observational data. It allows you to code video and calculate a variety of behavioral metrics. Now you can run The Observer XT with the g.MOBIlab or g.USBamp. Toghether they make a powerful system for studying physiology in its behavioral context.

Expample: Synchronization between the g.MOBIlab+ and Noldus Observer XT:

g.MOBIlab is a biosignal acquisition system for EEG, ECG, EMG, EOG and other sensors. One PC is used to run The Observer XT and to create a new observation (project).

The second PC is running g.MOBIlab Highspeed On-line Processing for Simulink to read in the biosignal data and to view the biosignals. The Noldus Observer XT Explorer is performing the synchronization of the biosginal data with The Observer XT events.

After the recording session the biosignal data such as respiration, ECG and Galvanic skin response (GSR) can be loaded into the Observer XT package for further off-line analysis.
